What you'll do:


  • Develop training plans and materials for all responsible sites, including monitoring the performance of the training plans and reviewing and refining as required
  • Manage training plans and records, using Salesforce system as required
  • Manage CPC training plan, courses and payments for courses for the responsible sites
  • Set up and manage coaching and mentoring schemes for responsible sites
  • Line manager to the training team within the region, including performance reviews and development of team members
  • Develop training methods and approaches to ensure that the best quality and consistency is achieved
  • Manage training budget for the region
  • Manage driver resourcing for the region, ensuring training school is utilised to its fullest at all times. Implementing training schools as required within the regional area. Oversea trainee driver stages from recruitment to garage start and then the PQS(Post Qualification Support) processes
  • Assist with agency driver recruitment as required
  • Manager of the DVSA Theory sites and manage the test centres and paperwork within the region
  • Support with coaching of onboard equipment such as Drivecam
  • Support with completion of the Driver Risk Profile as required from a training perspective, including supporting the business with high risk drivers including assisting with action plan creation and adherence
  • Support adherence to NX Global Standards for regional area
  • Support with 8.4 audits, health and safety audits, route risk assessment creation and update as required
  • Assist in updating and complying information for the Approved Driver List as required
  • Work alongside Service Delivery colleagues to ensure that training and recruitment activities are shared and understood
  • Work alongside other Regional Training Manager to ensure consistency in approach and resource sharing as required
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty dictated by the needs of the business.

What you'll need:


  • Current or recent experience in Training role, including line management of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at various levels internal and external
  • Experience of compiling and interpreting complex reports
  • Confident presenter
  • IT literate and able to use systems including Salesforce, DriveCam, etc.
  • Full UK PCV driving licence
