UK Product Director, £75,000 plus annual bonus, Remote

Purpose


As a member of the
Senior Management Team of two expanding UK businesses, the newly appointed UK Product Director for a
leading software company, will play a pivotal role working alongside the Managing Director and the other senior managers,
owning a range of projects and initiatives to support the company's on-track growth journey to become the leader in their field.


In your role as UK Product Director you will
lead the creation and delivery of the Product road-maps for the two businesses, leading your growing team of product specialists to
deliver new features and solutions resulting in improved productivity for your customers and consequential revenue growth for your business.


Responsibilities

As the UK Product Director you'll:

  • Identify potential product changes by engaging with customers and customer forums, manufacturers and internal departments.
  • Evaluate and prioritise potential product changes to determine their compatibility with company strategy and their dealership appeal.
  • Project manage the specification, development and delivery of all R&D projects using Agile.
  • Lead your team to clearly define the scope and stories for changes to maximise their efficacy.
  • Forecast anticipated incremental revenue from new product delivery.
  • Manage larger bespoke products
  • Work with the Development Manager to deliver the next major version of each product and the marketing team to deliver product launches.

The successful UK Product Director will:

  • Have experience working at a senior management level and can demonstrate an ability to contribute to business strategy
  • Likely come from a background of managing large ERP or Dealership Management Software product portfolios
  • Have experience of leading, building and developing a team
  • Have demonstrable experience of working using Agile methodology
  • Be confident establishing and maintaining key customer and supplier relationships
  • Possess confidence to challenge the status quo in a positive way with a commercial mindset
