Description
We currently have an opportunity for Chief of Staff for Direct & Facultative (D&F), Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) to help support the segment leader & D&F leadership team with the development and implementation of the segment's strategy and operations, as well as project management and planning assistance.
The Role
- Support Head of the D&F segment to enable an external focus on carriers, clients and WTW offices
- Work closely with the leadership team and other corporate function partners to support and provide project management for the segment's strategic initiatives and operations.
- Partner with D&F Marketing, PR and internal communications to continue to guide the CRB segment strategy in this area.
- Support the enhance the delivery of the CRB business plan and performance scorecard within D&F and in line with the additional focus areas agreed with the Leadership, including the collection and analysis of key information and determination of metrics.
- Support leadership to achieve business plan priorities and monitoring execution against these plans, including ad hoc assistance for various leadership team members
- Facilitate regular meetings for D&F & CRB Business and Corporate Function Leads including agenda setting, content development and soliciting material/feedback where necessary
- Support agenda management and organization of D&F leadership inperson meetings
- Assist with development of presentations, speeches, and materials for external meetings, WTW conferences and internal meetings
- Prepare materials to support the Head of D&F with presentations to various groups, including the WTW Operating Committee and Board of Directors
- Collaborate effectively on crossfunctional teams, often working virtually, demonstrating effectiveness when dealing with colleagues at all levels.
- Oversee project governance, provide strategic input and manage progress reports for CRB segment strategic investments
- Continuously develop an indepth knowledge of CRB's businesses, internally and externally.
- Represent the segment at corporate level forums and meetings when required
- Participate and input to projects as and when required.
- Play an integral part in introducing a cross selling collaborative approach within the D&F by identifying key stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency in messaging is delivered from the CRB Chief of Staff within D&F.
The Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in professional services, insurance, or consulting experience; experience in multiline of business environments or organizations with a matrix orientation strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of the WTW Operating Model
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior colleague and business leaders across businesses and functions and exhibit strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with shifting priorities, ensuring confidentiality, attention to detail and on time delivery
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and virtually
- An ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential matters
- Strong client service orientation, flexibility, and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
- Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one's work fits into the broader landscape
- Experience in project coordination, planning, and management
- Ability to pursue a global segment approach, objectively, without a bias to a particular region or line of business
