  • Are you experienced working within secondary school/post16 education settings? We are excited to be searching for a Player Education and Lifestyle Coordinator to join the team on a parttime basis (0.5 FTE)
  • The post holder will provide exceptional operational and administrative support for the Player Education & Lifestyle department, overseeing daytoday tasks across England Women's Teams.

What You'll Do?

  • Provide consistent and robust operational and administrative support to the Player Education & Lifestyle staff, both on and off camp, supporting the implementation of Player Education & Lifestyle procedures across England Women's Teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders such as education providers, clubs, and parents/carers, under the guidance of the Player Education & Lifestyle Lead, fostering strong relationships and promoting collaborative work. Ensure timely communication and updates as needed.
  • Maintain a centralised database containing all Player Education & Lifestyle information, ensuring standardised and accurate data capture.
  • Facilitate the player selection notification process by disseminating relevant details to education providers and clubs within agreedupon deadlines.
  • Take charge of the examination registration process and associated paperwork submission, meeting all related deadlines.
  • Prepare all Player Education resources for use by squads, ensuring readiness ahead of camps and tournaments by replenishing stock and checking equipment for defects.
  • Assist the Player Education & Lifestyle Lead in coordinating the development and sharing of player learning plans for all England team activities.
  • Respond promptly to both external and internal enquiries concerning Player Education & Lifestyle information.
  • Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
  • As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

What You'll Need?

  • Essential for the role:
  • Excellent administrative skills and experience.
  • Recent demonstratable experience of working within secondary school and/or post16 education sectors.
  • Proficient in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with young individuals and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Competence in securely managing personal data.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Beneficial to have:
  • Relevant experience in a football academy or elite sporting environment.
  • Experience in supporting/managing transitions
  • Proven success in creating and executing education/life skills programmes within sports.

Important note - this role would be suitable for an individual who can flexibly arrange their hours throughout the workweek, with a preference for working between 10 am and 2 pm daily. While some presence at St George's Park is necessary, the majority of the work can be conducted remotely
