I am working with a industry leading security specialist who are looking to grow their team by recruiting for a Business Development Manager covering the South East.

The purpose of the business development manager is develop new maintenance sales opportunities with prospect end user clients.

The day to day duties of the business development manager include:

  • Increase opportunities and increase spend with existing customers / accounts.
  • To identify target customers that fit the overall strategy/markets/geographic locations, following evaluation of the opportunity.
  • To acquire orders and achieve target sales volumes and margins from new business targets and identified / new accounts
  • Prospecting and development of new service sales contracts to new identified accounts/customers, generation of new accounts based upon opportunity evaluation and securing good quality maintenance contracts.
Skills & Experience required for the Business development manager:

  • 2-5 years sales experience ideally within a security/technical role
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Driven and happy to open doors and generate leads
  • Confident and a good listener
  • Good location to cover South East
  • MUST have a valid driver's license
