- Duties & Responsibilities
- Purpose
- To provide administrative support within the Operations team focused on NDT but no limited too.
- Functions
- Take necessary information/messages for departmental personnel.
- Prepare and send Departmental correspondence when needed.
- Carry out contract/project administration as required by Manager/Supervisor.
- Support Time and Labour submission for adhoc NDT personnel.
- Support verifying certification and validity for all NDT personnel (using issuing body systems where possible) and update personnel competence records, utilizing administrator support when required.
- Support and ensure accurate tracking of personnel
- Any other duty deemed necessary by Management to support successful operations of the business.
- Safety
- Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
- Other
- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
- Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
- Qualifications
- REQUIRED
- Good Secondary Education
- IT literate essential
- Experience in recruiting staff / temporary NDT personnel
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Relevant experience in office administration
- Excellent PC/typing skills
- Must be proficient with software packages (e.g., Excel, Word, and Visio)
- Must have excellent office organization skills
- Ability to carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires.
- Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering Operational procedures.
- Good communication skills
