Sales Account Manager

£26,000 Basic Salary plus Bonus

Tamworth (Office Based)
Our client a leading Tech company who is now seeking a Sales Account Manager to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK & Overseas market


The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing and new customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business.

Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships within a salesenvironment is essential.


Key Roles and Responsibilities


  • Support and work alongside current key account manager in daily tasks and reactive client quotations & general enquiries. ?


  • Act as the main point of contact for general enquiries for their portfolio of accounts, and pass over to required team member where necessary. ?


  • Create, update, and manage annual service contracts for their associated accounts.?


  • Manage their own portfolio of accounts, with the intention to grow additional business and revenue for products and services. ?


  • Maintain opportunity pipeline, ensure it is up to date, chase all open opportunities, and organise CRM system accordingly. ?


  • Manage site visit post actions via CRM system for additional opportunities of hardware sales. ?


  • Assist operations with site visit requirements based on client communication and review of systems. ?


  • Retain, and develop existing customers aligned with key account manager. ?


  • Software training of managed accounts to promote user engagement, and ensure clients are getting the best out of the solutions supplied. ?


  • Actively develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


  • Future development within the role will be to identify new business opportunities through existing accounts, generate leads and plan meetings.



  • 23 Years B2B sales background.


  • Adaptability in your communication with various industry accounts and contacts.


  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. ?


  • Proficient in Office 365/Excel. ?


  • Good Understanding of technology.?


  • Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts. ?


  • Proactive, organized, great time and workload management to prioritize tasks and actions.


  • Experience with working within the software industry desirable but not essential.
