The Opportunity

The Storage and local transport coordinator is a Fixed term full-time position for a period 12 months,, based in South London (SW4).

The Role


The purpose of the Storage and local transport coordinator is to coordinate the movement of clients goods within the warehouse and the timely deliver of good and services as agreed with the client.


You will provide a high standard of service to our storage customers, creating long-term relationships and encourage them to seek deeper relationships with us.


What you will do:

Storage Coordination

  • Support development of relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of client care and maximising revenue opportunities
  • Effective communication with functional/departmental colleagues to ensure a full understanding of operational requirements is achieved and maintained
  • Provide business leads to other divisions within the company to facilitate client revenue growth
  • Adhoc quotes and preparation, whilst meeting budgeted gross margin
  • Creation of job files of new storage requests, updating the inhouse database and obtaining all necessary paperwork
  • Complete, update and advice to clients schedules of deliveries/collection and or storage
  • Pass all completed files and supplier invoices to accounts administration in a timely manor
Local Transport Coordination

  • Coordinate Local transport and storage requirements
  • Coordinating with relevant department for import, export warehouse service

Skill and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience within a Storage or local transport administration or coordination role
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High level of professionalism and customer service is expected
  • Good interpersonal skills able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Must be flexible with working hours as reasonably requested by the Warehouse
Desirable

  • Experience of art handling or white glove service
