Job Details

  • Technology Services partnering with our business colleagues is critical as we look to drive to play a role greater than just support. We are looking for colleagues to add value by assessing and understanding business needs and adapting technologies to maximise their effectiveness for Kantar. This role will operate as the primary representative of Tech Services in promoting IT services, capabilities, strategy, and finances, as well as providing support in delivering technology projects that meet the needs of the business. This is a matrix management role working as the primary (but not exclusive) IT interface with the business
  • Our Brand Services Technology partners will support and anticipate proactively Kantar's technology needs and support the delivery of relevant IT Service and Solutions. You will typically hold regular meetings with a variety of stakeholders and technology teams across the organisation to understand the goals of the business and divisions and how we translate these into technology requirements focused on value cocreation. In some case you may be a main contact point for a local business or technology team, as new technology is successfully delivered, you may also be working to ensure that our customers understand how to use tools and resolve issues they may encounter and relay feedback to our teams
  • You may come from a similar industry or have a very different background but what will make you stand out is your overall broad experience in technology in a variety of roles to have a valuable skill set and a strong foundation for understanding our customer needs and your great communication and analytical skills. Your communication ability is essential for this role as a large part of the job will involve acting as an intermediary between the local business and technology teams across a matrix organisation
  • Role Requirements
  • Be the face for the delivery of technical services across Kantar and be a strong advocate for our cyber security functions and our colleagues in Architecture, Enterprise, and Application teams to match IT and business objectives, align requirements, resources, and solutions. You may be asked to roll up your sleeves and ensure critical vulnerability and or remediation activities are supported and completed
  • Collaborate with other IT points of contact supporting the daytoday services provided by our 3rd parties as well as being a first point of call for promoting our IT services, capabilities, strategy and associated financial model. Understand the existing technology Infrastructure and Services and develop strategic plans to improve the efficiency and quality of the related service delivery
  • Understand the wider technology strategy and how this can be leveraged to meet and improve the Kantar business
  • Support the change within Kantar IT helping colleagues to adapt behaviour, culture, and work methods in response to new technologies and processesWhat will you do and what skills will you need?
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and build relationships and influence with stakeholders at all levels
  • Have a broad technical appreciation to cocreate value and turn business requirements into strategic plans/roadmaps for delivery. Support gathering requirements and analysing the process or problem not rushing to a technical solution, focus on the "Why" before the "What" as a fundamental way of working
  • Experience working cross functionally both in project delivery and as part of incident response, root cause analysis and back to health plans and working within matrix organisations, directly with colleagues from both business and IT functions
  • Ability to connect the dots through a Stakeholder's eyes with a keen ability to sift through the clutter of data to articulate the business strategy and the alignment of prioritised IT initiatives to achieve it faster, more efficiently and with a measurable outcome, you'll be a storyteller with great communication skills in nonIT lingo when required but to pivot for more technical groups
  • Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload with competing demands and to demonstrate a bias for action
  • Identify critical reporting and metrics to help business groups, based on our data and help drive actionable insight
  • Be customer focused with a consultative and continuousimprovement mindset and demonstrate a good knowledge of compliance and security standards and ITIL
  • Experience of navigating large, complex, organisational structures and challenging the status quoCountry
