Description

1. To have a full operational knowledge of all luggage porter services and procedures

To receive guests vehicles, issue receipt for the car and drive it to and from the car park when required
To assist guests with luggage on arrival and departure. To store and retrieve luggage as required and follow all procedures in relation to this task, including recording luggage deliveries and storage.
To assist in obtaining taxis for hotel guests and patrons
To sign for and record deliveries, book local transport and answer general questions and enquiries
To offer guests comprehensive information on local amenities, restaurants, theatres, transport amenities and services.
To provide the highest guest experience possible by using professional interaction skills at all times and to handle guest feedback effectively.
To re-stock the concierge and luggage teams nightly with stationery and brochures.
To ensure all newspaper deliveries to guests are punctual, accurate and correctly charged
To prepare and deliver all room service requests between the hours of 11pm until 6.00am
To work as part of a team and show support and encouragement to colleagues.
To keep the lobby and hotel entrances clean, tidy and free of litter, including emptying of bins in front office and concierge areas. Tidy and clean luggage room, luggage store and long-term luggage store nightly.
To ensure correct manual handling techniques are followed at all times.
To sign in and out of every shift, and return Master Key.
To carry out any other reasonable request at any time from Management, including housekeeping duties, pressing guest's personal items.
