Hourly Rate:
Rate of pay is dependant on experience and qualifications.


Hours:
Basic of 40 hours + opportunity of overtime is provided and will be required on occasion.

About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manual Machinist to join our growing Engineering business.

This is an exciting prospect for you to be a part of a well-established and well organised team working on projects for our varied clientele base worldwide.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with the companies Health and Safety procedures
• Understand and read technical drawings
• Select appropriate materials and tooling
• Manually machine components, as per drawing requirements (manual only)
• Accurate completion of timesheets and inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Person Specification

• Experience as a Miller / Turner minimum 5 years
• Strong and technical background with the ability to work on selfinitiative, be selfmotivated, enthusiastic and adaptable
• Reliable and accurate with a strong attention to detail
• Strong coordination skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work well as part of a team

Essential
