Production Coordinator to play a pivotal part in their operation.

**Production Coordinator
Middlesbrough, TS6 6JA
Full Time, Permanent Position

Van Leeuwen serves its worldwide customer base via an international network of forty branches in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and America.

Continued success has allowed them to invest heavily in their distribution network by opening new offices,building new warehouses and expanding existing ones.


They are now looking for a forward thinking
Production Coordinator to ensure good working practices are always maintained, particularly with Health and Safety and to ensure the Group Operations & Logistics Process Manager are aware of anyqueries that may affect the successful completion of production tasks.


Main duties include:


  • Plan and prioritise back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders with the Assistant Warehouse Manager/Site Manager.
  • Confirmation of Production orders/P Articles.
  • Ensure accuracy of material calculations, material returned to stock and correct allocation of scrap.
  • Address any issues when they arise to keep disruption to a minimum, maintaining a on time delivery service level of 98%.
  • General filing, scanning and administration duties within the Operations & Logistics department.
  • Keep SAP clean and up to date.
  • Routine adjustments in SAP when necessary.
  • Cover other roles within Operations & Logistics when necessary.
  • To keep up to date any reports that are under your responsibility.

About You:

  • Skills and Qualifications:_
  • Good secondary education.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good numeric aptitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Preferably having worked in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Industrious nature.
  • Ability to work well with other team members.
  • Able to work to deadlines in a multifaceted environment.

You must be authorised to work in the UK. No agencies please.
