Are you an experienced Technical Production Planner looking for a new opportunity?- JMC are working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Gatwick, looking to recruit a Technical Production Planner to join their expanding team.- This is a Permanent Position based in Gatwick with an immediate start date.

- The responsibilities of the Technical Production Planner will involve:

  • Managing conflicting priorities and tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Building good relationships with internal and external customers
  • Generating and issuing comprehensive maintenance packages of work for production staff in accordance with the relevant regulatory airworthiness requirements and departmental procedures
  • Creating and maintaining master work cards/databases where required for specific projects, identifying sub-contract requirements, spares and tooling
  • Liaising with internal departments and external customers, as deemed necessary to provide clear and concise work instructions
  • Assisting the Shift Supervisor with the daily operation of the Planning Department and supporting the day-to-day production operation including material preload
  • Commercial awareness of the impact that decisions can have to the customer and to the business
  • Collating all technical records, work packs and airworthiness paperwork associated with all maintenance of aircraft
  • Asserting that all applicable completed aircraft maintenance documentation is accurate and completed correctly
  • On receipt of completed work packs, reviewing for any omissions and progressively update the internal system to reflect work card status
  • Updating customer maintenance tracking to ensure that all work carried out including component replacements is accurately recorded
  • Performing daily meetings and produce production reports to communicate aircraft maintenance status
  • Daily upkeep of departmental databases
  • Generating and issuing the operators maintenance packages of work for production staff
  • Scheduling maintenance work ahead for predetermined customers
  • In order to be successful in this role, the Technical Production Planner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • 2 years working in aircraft maintenance, production planning or airline environment Experience in MRO IT software, such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc. would be an advantage but not essential Flexibility and adaptability towards rapidly changing situations Ability to work under pressure to react to operational requirements and time constraints Right to live and work in the UK For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
