Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting Logistics Operator to join their manufacturing company based in the Cardiff area.

Our client is a busy aircraft manufacturer. As such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy and a previous working history in this role is desirable.

Salary:
£11.00 per hour rising to £11.50 after probation. Time and a third shift premium paid for twilights and nights

Shifts:38 hour week**:

- **Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm,Friday 8am to 2pm Days

Requirements:

Read, understand and successfully interpret incoming and outgoing documentation.
Efficient and effective working managing time to prioritise deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills working with others to provide information they need to complete tasks and eliminate production delays
Ability to work as part of a team working flexibly and collaboratively to solve problems and exceed departmental targets
Ability to follow and work within procedure exercising sound judgement at all times; suggesting appropriate improvements to support team delivery
Sound literacy and numerical skills
Personal ownership and responsibility being professional, punctual, consistent and reliable

Experience

Previous experience in goodsinwards (desirable but not essential)
Experience working in a changing operational environment
Forklift Truck license (Valid)
