There's a permanent opportunity for a Stock Control Administrator working with our friendly team from Edinburgh.Site Overview
The on-site team consists of 40 members including an Account Manager, Contract Manager, 3 Supervisors, Contract Support team and a 30 member team of Engineers.
The Role
- Accepting deliveries from suppliers and subcontractors
- Check all materials correspond with the Dalkia Purchase Order
- Report any discrepancies/quality issues to supplier and inform Finance team in Dalkia office
- Arrange any returns/collections
- All goods to be receipted in, labelled up and issued out to relevant Engineer/job
- File delivery notes
- Ensure all goods either received or removed from the stores is controlled and recorded at all times
- Monitor stock levels daily
- Carry out ordering processes in line with contractual terms
- Raising P/O's and issuing to supplier/subcontractor
- Working closely with engineers and supervisors to support all processes relating to the stock control of material and coordinating between the office, engineers, suppliers, or subcontractors
- Keep the stores clean and tidy at all time
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills/ experience
- Experience working in a Stock Control role within an FM environment would be highly desirable
- Basic commercial awareness working within SLA's and KPI's
- Microsoft Office IT Skills and Excel
- Selfmotivated and able to work unsupervised
- Excellent organisational skills
