Job Summary
Responsible for directing the Tax function of the Company.

Monitors the tax planning, research and compliance for the corporation in an effort to minimize the tax burden of the Company.

Develops appropriate tax planning initiatives and recommendations to place the Company in the most effective tax posture.

Core Responsibilities

Administers tax affairs of the corporation to ensure strict compliance with federal, state, local and/or foreign tax laws.
Analyzes and provides clear interpretations of federal, state, local and foreign statues and regulations.
Oversees corporate tax litigations and tax audits.
Acts as liaison and negotiator with tax authorities.
Prepares or oversees the preparation of special reports concerning the tax consequences of corporate projects or programs.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relevant Work Experience
10 Years +

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
