Wealth Credit Management (WCM) at Citi is a newly formed business line to provide integrated end to end credit underwriting, transaction and portfolio management in partnership with all the origination businesses of the Private Bank and Wealth Management of Citi.

IF Deal Closing team in Loan Product & Transaction Management is the dedicated team to interpret, review and collect all finance and regulatory documents needed to close and book loan deals as well as to ensure critical data are captured properly in various systems and can be validated against gold source and appropriate legal document.

We are looking to hire an experienced professional to contribute and perform a role on the IF Deal Closing team within Loan Product and Transaction Management in WCM.

Key Responsibilities:

Review the Term Sheets for new closings / amendments/ restructures.
Provides checklists to transactors / underwriters detailing all documents needed to close.
Review the draft credit agreement for roles and responsibilities as well as Operational mechanics compatibility with loan product processor and any manual touch points involved.
Collaborate with and advise Loan Operations of upcoming closings as derived from Sales Force and track for closing timelines.
Continue to work in concert with Transactors & external counsel for changes / updates to the draft credit agreement and provide feedback as needed.
Provide formally sign off on the final draft agreement prior to the executed version. Signoff includes the verification of the credit line in CP vs the credit agreement.
Works with Service Officers to review clients' articles of incorporation in order to validate authorized signers as well as confirm Citi's authorized signers via Certificate of Incumbency in preparation for Citi's signature pages.
IF team closer continually confers with Operations to address issues and to ensure timely booking (and funding) and confirms to transactors.
IF Closer to track for postclose documents including Flood Insurance, UCC.
Postclose review of ALS, handoff to Loan Management system for data quality review
Escalate issues with appropriate stake holders

Qualifications:

A good track record of experience in large financial institution is a must
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Prior experience in Loan product is preferred
Understanding of lending rules and regulation is a plus
Experience with exposure and transactions reporting tools
Attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication capability
Ability to take initiative and selfmotivate
Developed analytical and problemsolving abilities
