The Company Overview:

Butler rose are partnered with a repeat client based in central Manchester, who provide alternative, low-cost transport for those who have difficulty using public transport, often for disabled and elderly people.

This is a unique opportunity which wouldbe ideal for someone looking for a varied role - someone who is great at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and who can manage the financial activities necessary for the operation of the company.

Your new role as Finance Manager:

Your duties will include:

Draft annual budgets and annual report
Carry out monthly budget reconciliation and variance analysis
Production of management accountant and performance reporting
Sole point of contact for external audit
Responsibility and oversight of payroll and purchasing
Administration of the companies pension scheme
Preparation of the monthly VAT return
Ensure procedural compliance
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Manage contract negotiation in respect of utilities, mobile phones etc
Establish and maintain effective performance monitoring procedures
Grant claim preparation
Supervision of Finance team
Attend meeting with external bodies where necessary

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables/Lookups, etc)
Payroll & Purchasing experience
Strong ERP knowledge
Strong communication skills and able to build strong working relationships
NFP/Charity experience desirable but not essential

Your Reward & The Package On Offer:

As Finance Manager you shall receive
Salary of £45,000.00

Annual pay review

Hybrid working (2 days at home each week)

Flexible working pattern - 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm/ 10am-6pm

33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
