As a Reporting Accountant, you will be joining a very exciting corporate who are looking for a reporting accountant to support their Finance Team to support with statutory and MI reporting, to make informed decisions about current and future projects.

Description

Job duties for the Reporting Accountant include:

  • Preparation/Review of the monthly management accounts and providing insightful narrative on balance movements.
  • Preparation of investment funding drawdown documentation as required based on advice as to funding requirements provided by the respective Fund Managers. Maintaining pipeline and investment data required by Holding Funds in support of investment fundingdrawdown claims.
  • Distribution of cash collections to Holding Funds on a timely basis as set out in the Partnership Agreements.
  • Assist the Reporting Manager in the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly data submissions to British Business Bank in respect of the Investment Funds, incorporating regular forecasts, investment and Fund summaries.
  • Preparation of the monthly Arrears Data required to be reported to British Business Bank in respect of CBILS and RLS investments.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial statements and statutory accounts in cooperation with the Financial Controller.
  • Reviewing inputs into Framework to ensure accuracy of information held.
  • Cooperation with auditors, advisers and stakeholders as required.
  • Supervision of day to day CASS reporting. Liaison with Quality Assurance Team to ensure that CASS requirements are met. Preparation of information required for the monthly/quarterly/annual returns to the FCA.

Profile

  • At least part qualified, studying towards a recognised UK accountancy qualification ideally in a financial services environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Team working skills and an open and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Ability to understand integrated financial forecasts

The successful Reporting Accountant will:

  • Received £33,000£36,000 DOE
