We're supporting a specialist analytical instrumentation manufacturer that supplies advanced laboratory systems to customers across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Service & Support Chemist to join their technical team.
Responsibilities
- Performing on-site instrument servicing repairs preventative maintenance
- Planning scheduling monthly service activities installing new analytical instruments delivering customer training diagnosing troubleshooting instrument faults on site by phone email teaching customers routine maintenance tasks using defined checklists carrying out in-house servicing diagnostics instrument assembly becoming technical expert full product range producing customer bulletins technical guidance recording service activity updates CRM system supporting demonstrations laboratory testing collecting support data chemistry methods reporting trends issues customer feedback wider business managing travel arrangements expenses service documentation
