Description

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Payroll Officer to join an established and successful company on a permanent basis.

You will be joining the Finance department to cover payroll duties for a company specialising in the Rail industry.

**You will be responsible for: - Monthly payroll - timesheets, processing overtime, deductions, tax changes, etc

  • Updating employee records
  • Processing pension contributions correctly
  • Checking and approving fortnightly timesheets
  • HMRC reporting
This role is fully office based working Monday to Friday. An immediate start is available.


Requirements:


  • Experience in payroll (specifically with timesheets)
  • Knowledge of HMRC regulations & statutory payments
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills

Desirable:

  • Recognised Payroll Qualification
  • Payroll experience in a Construction or Rail related role

- £24,000 Starting Salary
