An exciting opportunity is now available for a Payroll Officer to join an established and successful company on a permanent basis.
You will be joining the Finance department to cover payroll duties for a company specialising in the Rail industry.**You will be responsible for: - Monthly payroll - timesheets, processing overtime, deductions, tax changes, etc
- Updating employee records
- Processing pension contributions correctly
- Checking and approving fortnightly timesheets
- HMRC reporting
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll (specifically with timesheets)
- Knowledge of HMRC regulations & statutory payments
- Competent Microsoft Office skills
Desirable:
- Recognised Payroll Qualification
- Payroll experience in a Construction or Rail related role
- £24,000 Starting Salary
