Job purpose
To train, mentor and guide new and existing staff to enable excellence in clinical care delivery.
To be able to plan and deliver clinical skills and sessions, based on clinicalskills. net resource platform
To design plan and deliver a program of teaching, including identifying current areas for revision and improvement and will contribute to the planning, design and development of objectives for clinical training in Swallowcourt.

- on"_ training sessions in all 6 homes.
Responsibilities of Training Role
- To carry out tasks delegated by Clinical Matron, within the scope of the clinical training role.
- Working in partnership with the Training Manager.
- To have a sound knowledge of clinical areas and be able to deliver of practical skills as well as have a good theory knowledge base with regards to Long Term conditions.
- To develop and maintain bespoke training materials in line with current legislation and directives.
- To write clinical newsletter and manage the clinical intranet page with regards to provision off updated guidance and available resources.
- To work closely with the Clinical Leads in all homes and support with clinical development of staff in all homes, identify training needs and develop practices.
- To maintain Swallowcourt training records and be able to manage IT systems like MyHippo and Coolcare
- To liaise with and book training from reputable/accredited outside training providers.
- To liaise with the Local Colleges and external health professionals to support the Training Manager to source clinical training.
- To work in partnership with external teams like the Care Home Support Team, to explore clinical training opportunities.
- To keep up to date with all Legislation, and regulations within the areas where Swallowcourt deliver training.
- To liaise with the District Nursing teams, overseeing Swallowcourt LD Homes, to explore joined partnership working with regards to developing support workers in their roles.

Good General level of Education - E
Registered Nurse - E
Supervisory experience -D
Minimum PTLLs or other relevant trainer's qualification - E
Training experience preferably within Health & Social care setting - D
