Allen Lane are delighted to be supporting a London based University with their search of a System Support Analyst to join the team and maintain their Administrative IT systems including CRM and finance.

This is a permanent position offering hybrid workingwith 2-3 days per week required on site.

The role

As a System Support Analyst you will:

Maintain develop IT systems in-line with needs and technological changes;
Monitor system interfaces, ensuring that data flows seamlessly and securely addressing any issues
Work with various teams within the organisation and IT department including third parties to ensure systems and relevant documentation/training are consistently available, maintained and enhanced as required.
Assist with any development or implementations of IT Systems and Services
Manage relationships with third party systems providers
Contribute to all change projects and programs within technology and any change programmes/major projects

Key Skills required

As a System Support Analyst you will have:

Experience delivering IT Systems Support Services ideally within Education
Strong analysis and communication skills, both verbally and inwriting with the ability to deal with technical and nontechnical colleagues
Experience supporting a range of systems and platforms, ensuring they integrate succinctly

- proven skills using of 4GL programming and of query languages and commercial reporting tools to develop and deliver analysis and reports.

Strong experience with MS SQL Server, MS Reporting and Integration Services and a detailed understanding of MS SQL stored procedures
Previous experience in being the technical contact for projects involving interfacing with current business systems
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice including data and systems security, data protection
