The role has potential for career development and Cornelius is looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to contribute to process improvement and bring fresh ideas to develop the team.


Main responsibilities:


Assist with general team administration including:

  • Order processing
  • MRP and purchase requisition


  • Product sourcing

  • RFQ
  • Expediting
  • Part number and bills of material (BOM) creation
  • Good maintenance of the purchasing system and files
  • Reacting to changes in customer demand
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Assisting with departmental projects
  • Stock control

Supplier co-ordination:

  • Supplier sourcing
  • Building supplier relationships

Other departmental responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the other internal departments, for example; Finance, Technical etc., maintaining strong working relationships and efficient communications
  • Identifying improvement opportunities

Person specification:


  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills (including strong telephone manner)
  • Proactive & quickthinking
  • A team player

Working hours:


Week A:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30AM - 5:30PM

Week B:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30AM - 5:30PM, Friday: 7:30AM - 2:00PM


Salary:
£25,040.00 per year

  • Port Talbot: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
