About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity to join our Audiences, Sales and Marketing Department in a newly created role for the organisation.

You will be working across all parts of the organisation to create short and long form content pieces for internal and externalconsumption.


The Video Content Creator will need to be a motivated self-starter, adept in story-telling and creating engaging content for use across multiple platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and edit highquality multimedia content (video, photos and audio) for use across multiple digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the wider CRM & Digital team to maintain quality levels across content, optimise digital channels at all times and always taking an audiencecentred approach.
  • Project manage all content creation requests and develop a content creation schedule, to ensure all key requests are completed.
  • Work with departments across the whole organisation to promote key events, exhibitions and support with internal video content requests.
  • Produce internal video content for training or HR purposes.
  • Work with the Press and Comms team to produce livestreaming events for both Press Q&As and internal briefings.
  • Work closely with the Digital Content Manager to produce videos suitable for use on The Lowry's website and social channels.
  • Work closely with the Artist Development team to film and edit content as part of the Artist Development Programme, for use across website, social channels and Vimeo.
  • Help and advise Social Media Executive on best practice for social media content.
  • Liaise with all departments within the organisation to source stories this could include coverage of Press Nights and event openings.
  • Work closely with the inhouse design team to create content and ensure all content produced adheres to brand guidelines.
  • As required work with external stakeholders to develop content.

Desired Skills.

  • Highly organised and able to project manage effectively across a range of tasks.
  • Ability to communicate on all levels all levels of the organisation from public facing teams to senior management.
  • Can work flexibly as and when required (evenings, weekends) in the office, across the Lowry site or on specific projects Job Related Skills.
  • Video, photography and editing skills (Photoshop, Vimeo, Canva or similar tools).
  • Experience of multimedia content creation.
  • Good knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations/requirements.
  • Extensive experience in developing, planning and delivering multimedia content.
  • Strong eye for graphic design, creative output and photography.
  • Experience commissioning content Job Related Knowledge.
  • Proactively staying uptodate on developments in the multimedia content space.
  • Deep understanding of audiences behaviours in digital spaces.
  • Competitor and wider industry brand awareness.
  • Uptodate knowledge and understanding of digital marketing.
