Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, to join the accounts team at an engineering company based in Barnsley on a permanent, full time basis.
As the accounts assistant, you will be working closely with a team of friendly professionals whilst directly reporting to the Financial Controller.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
Assisting credit control
Assisting with payroll processing
Sales ledger invoicing
Maintaining purchase ledger
Ensure invoices are processed accurately
Reconciling supplier statements
Multi currency cash books
Liaising with Purchasing Department over any discrepancies
Answering supplier queries with regards to invoices and payments
Managing your own key performance indicators (KPI's)
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
Previous purchase ledger experience
Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience using accounting softwares
Job Types:

Up to £26,000.00 per year
