Triage Nurse (Colleges)
Salary range £41,338 - £43,856 pro rata Term Time Only £36, £38,163.90 plus excellent pension benefits + generous annual leave

Location/s:
Cross College Bromley, Orpington, Greenwich and Bexley, (Hybrid working is an option)
Working pattern: 37 hours per week term time only

The Role

For this new role we are seeking a nurse with experience preferably within the education sector, who can take the lead in the health and wellbeing of students and staff within the College community.

You will be able to shape this role as you liaise with a rangeof stakeholders including Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Student Experience and Human Resources regarding the wellbeing of those within the College community.

The role of Triage Nurse will entail health promotion, oversight of the health surveillance programme for staff, supervision of mental health first aiders, DSE Assessor, supporting health and safety with accident reports, providing support with the managementof infectious diseases, arranging events and activities to promote Personal, Social, Health & Economic (PSHE) education.


Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to operate with autonomy, possess innovation and the ability to inspire others as well as the ability to persuade others.

Confidence in presenting to a range of audiences is essential as well as the ability to identify and implement health initiatives.

Good attention to detail, administration skills and ability to manage a range of caseloads are essential for this position.
