An exciting opportunity has arisen for an in house Commercial Insurance Broker to join the Petcover Group, as an integral member of one of the fastest growing pet insurance providers in the UK today.

You will be a proactive and positive member of our Broker team who thrives with the challenge of a fast paced, target driven sales environment.

The role holder will be part of a successful sales team responsible for continuing the significant growth we have enjoyed over recent years.


You would sometimes need to attend and network at events and conferences where our potential partners work and exist, however your main role would be to support the brokers working in the field.

Our offices are based in Haywards Heath.


Key tasks

  • Achieving set sales targets through the conversion of warm leads that have been generated for you, into sales.
  • Handle all incoming broker calls, act, close and refer as necessary.
  • Support the remote working brokers.
  • Building excellent relationships with vets, pet shops, breeders and pet professionals, ensuring a professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy attitude is demonstrated at all times.
  • Assisting in the building of an internal team.
  • Close collaboration with the team to achieve shared goals.
  • Represent the organisation positively in all interactions with potential clients.
  • Commit to ongoing 'on the job' training provided by colleagues and team managers who are committed to ensuring you have all the tools to be highly successful.

Experience

Experience:


  • Commercial Insurance Broking (Minimum 12 years)
  • Underwriting Experience
  • Problem Solving Ability
  • Strong Communicator
