Description
Dovetail Group (UK) are one of the Midlands leading Facilities Management, Environmental and Waste companies. We are looking for a Waste Operative to be part of a team responsible for ensuring all waste is segregated and recyclable waste is maintained in line with regulations.
Duties will include:
- Emptying the skips and bins returned by our skip drivers.
- Separating the materials into certain sections.
- Bailing cardboard and plastic with our machinery.
- Complying with all licensing regulations at all times.
- Following health and safety procedures and keeping the yard safe and tidy.
- Manual handling of waste and bins safely.
- Occasional litter picking.
Place of work:
Dovetail Group Yard, Chestnuts Farm, Eastcote Lane, Solihull, B92 0AS.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm (1 hour unpaid break). 40 hours a week. Occasional weekend overtime available.
Pay:
Starting at £11.50 per hour. If you hold tickets to use machinery this will also increase your pay.
Skills required:
Physical fitness, the ability to use your own initiative, work quickly and efficiently, work in a fast paced environment.
