Dovetail Group (UK) are one of the Midlands leading Facilities Management, Environmental and Waste companies. We are looking for a Waste Operative to be part of a team responsible for ensuring all waste is segregated and recyclable waste is maintained in line with regulations.

Duties will include:

Emptying the skips and bins returned by our skip drivers.
Separating the materials into certain sections.
Bailing cardboard and plastic with our machinery.
Complying with all licensing regulations at all times.
Following health and safety procedures and keeping the yard safe and tidy.
Manual handling of waste and bins safely.
Occasional litter picking.

Place of work:
Dovetail Group Yard, Chestnuts Farm, Eastcote Lane, Solihull, B92 0AS.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm (1 hour unpaid break). 40 hours a week. Occasional weekend overtime available.

Pay:
Starting at £11.50 per hour. If you hold tickets to use machinery this will also increase your pay.

Skills required:

Physical fitness, the ability to use your own initiative, work quickly and efficiently, work in a fast paced environment.
