Production Coordinator

Location:
Leamington Spa


Shift: 1pm - 9.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary:
£25,000 - £27,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)

Production Coordinator required to join a well-established company based in Leamington Spa on a permanent basis.

Our client is an expert in their field as a manufacturer and supplier of creative packaging solutions, working with some of the largest household names.

With specialist teams on site allowing, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and supplying of their products.
The
Production Coordinator will join an existing team to support the production planning and coordination across the teams.

This role will predominantly focus on Production however you may be required to assist with transport planning and coordination at times.

You will be required to be both reactive to any changes or issues whilst also planning ahead.


The duties and responsibilities of the Production Coordinator:

  • Planning and tracking production to enable the transport team to arrange their schedules. (Full training can be provided)
  • Communicating with the Machine Operatives and other members of staff ensuring smooth production and dealing with any problems where required
  • Reporting any issues to senior members of staff
  • Ensuring production plans are up to date on the system
  • Generate reports at the end of the day
  • Checking drivers back in from deliveries
  • Move around factories and yards and be responsible for ensuring the buildings are secure at the end of the day

The ideal Production Planner Coordinator:


  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve
  • Ability to escalate any issues to Production Manager
  • Must be computer literate (training on specific packages will be provided)
  • Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Leamington Spa: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
