£10,559 - £11,214**
Contract: Part-time Hours (Equivalent to 2 days only), Term Time Only + 5 Days.

Fixed Term Contract for 1 year.
John Smeaton Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Careers Advisor. This role is of great importance to our work as an academy.

In this role you will provide information, advice and guidance to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 in order to help them make realistic choices about future education, training and work.


The ideal applicant will have:


  • An understanding of the Secondary and Post 16 Educational Landscape
  • An ability to form meaningful relationships with young people in the 1116 age range
  • A passion for education and making a difference to life chances of all young people
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
