  • To provide comprehensive administrative and project support to the Community Engagement Team which is responsive to the team's needs and contributes to making their role effective.
  • To provide specific administrative support to the manager of the Community Engagement Team which is proactive and responsive to their needs. Principal accountabilities

Principal accountabilities

  • Provide a full range of highlevel administrative support, including managing a "bringforward" system, maintaining diaries, and arranging meetings.
  • Act as first point of contact for Mayoral correspondence that is allocated to the team, draft responses, ensure that letters are replied to within the GLA's timeframe, and keep records.
  • Act as a conduit to key administrative/liaison contacts across the GLA Group and other relevant agencies.
  • Manage the planning and organisation of events, meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops for the team.
  • Devise, establish and maintain a support service to the Community Engagement team, including the financial administration and budget monitoring, maintenance of records, ordering goods and services, processing invoices, photocopying, mail, and filing.
  • Support the team including in its project work, maintain data spreadsheets for project related work and keep the team updated on issues from the web and other sources.
