Job Role - Production Administrator

Contract - Permanent

Full Time - 39 Hours


Coolair Bus & Rail Ltd predominantly specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of bespoke integrated HVAC systems for the Automotive and Railway industry.

The business is also fully equipped with fabrication facilities, manufacturing assemblies and components for customers and our own products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with great attention to detail. This job role offers a wide variety of works. Therefore, the individual needs to work well under pressure and enjoy working with IT.

We have a requirement to expand our administration function at our Deacon Road site.

We want to employ a team player who will actively assist with improvements throughout the business and have a positive attitude towards the development of our processes.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the roll out of a new company wide ERP, forecast to launch in Q A full training course shall be provided on site.
  • Liaising with customers, receiving enquiries and preparing quotations for approval by a Director.
  • Purchasing, including price checking and raising purchase orders for approval by a Director.
  • Creating works orders for shop floor production at our manufacturing facility.
  • Providing detailed sales reports to the finance department and company Directors.
  • Progress chasing, both internally and externally.
  • Liaising with the Production Manager and Quality Control department to despatch product in a timely manner.
  • Recording minutes in daily production meeting for a circulation list.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within an engineering administration role is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain concentration under pressure.
  • Must be enthusiastic, selfmotivated, proactive and organised.
  • Keen to learn a new ERP system.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Must be organised and professional with document control.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Using own initiative and managing/prioritising workload.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Experience in common industry standard business practices, such as ERP.

Package

Salary
Salary is negotiable based on previous experience and the individual's abilities.


Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday 07:30 16:30
  • Friday 07:30 12:30
Note that overtime may be required occasionally based on customer demands and workload. This overtime may be before or after the working hours stated above.
