Job purpose:


The Kitchen Assistant is a key role within the Company's team, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and that our kitchen, dining areas and services are kept clean and tidy.

Your role will also include dishwashing, assisting Team Members in serving food, and clearing tables. Your hard work and dedication will contribute significantly to providing our customers with a pleasant and satisfying dining experience.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operate the dishwashing equipment, ensuring all kitchenware and utensils are cleaned efficiently and stored correctly.
  • Clean and maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, including the removal of dirty dishes and rubbish, and clean services regularly.
  • Assist Team Members in serving food to tables and clearing tables promptly after customers have finished their meals.
  • Stock up supplies, including cutlery and napkins, in the dining area.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when required.

Job purpose:


As a Team Member - Food Preparation Specialist at the Company, your primary role will be to carry out food preparation duties while also serving our customers, managing the deli counter, and effectively using the Point of Sale (PoS) system.

Your skills in cooking, coupled with excellent customer service, will be integral to providing our customers with a satisfying dining experience.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Provide excellent customer service at all times, ensuring a pleasant and satisfying dining experience and take away experience for our customers.
  • Manage the deli counter, including serving customers, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Assist in basic food preparation, adhering to the Company's recipes and presentation standards, and prepare/cook a variety of food items including pastas, risottos, breakfast dishes, and other menu items in accordance with our recipes and presentation standards.
  • Operate the PoS system accurately for order taking and adjustments.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and food hygiene standards.
  • Assist with stocking and replenishing supplies and inventory.
  • Clean and maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, including the removal of dirty dishes and rubbish, and if required, operate washing equipment and clean services regularly.
  • Open/close the restaurant, collaborate with other Team Members and generally contribute positively to the work environment.
