Description
The Conference and Events team are responsible for attracting new conference and events business to the University to achieve sales targets.
The team provide a professional service working with internal and external clients to understand their requirements and convert enquiries into confirmed events.
All bookings are managed from enquiry to delivery and the team are responsible for the preparation and operational delivery of events on Campus, to ensure a consistent and seamless delivery.
About the role:
Whilst conferences and events are delivered throughout the year there are peak times, especially in the summer period when the team host large residential conferences and summer school bookings, welcoming a high number of delegates and children on Campus.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills, impeccable organisational skills and works well in a team and with colleagues in other departments.
