    Senior HR Advisor

    In a respected Insurance firm in the City of London, we seek a Senior HR Advisor to support two experienced HR Business Partners.

    The Role

    This position requires a Senior generalist HR Advisor to deliver best practices for managers and employees, providing guidance and solutions as needed. Key responsibilities include completing Employee Relations processes such as Disciplinary procedures, Probation extensions, and dismissals, as well as Performance Improvement Plans. You will also update and maintain HR letter templates, procedures, and policies ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with employment law and best practice. Additionally, you will participate in projects and HR activities as directed by the HR Business Partners, Payroll Manager, and CHRO, and produce management information as required. This is a generalist role where you will have your own population to manage and partner with, requiring strong relationship-building skills.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience working within a fast-paced HR department
    • Excellent organisational skills; able to prioritise and work to deadlines with attention to detail
    • An enthusiastic and flexible approach; personable; good team player; able to manage a busy workload
    • Proactive attitude with a 'can do' mentality and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
    • Graduate or equivalent degree, committed to studying CIPD if not already obtained
