The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a number of Street Cleansing Operatives, to work for our client within the Portsmouth area.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Sweeping the streets of Portsmouth
- Collecting all rubbish, litter, debris, leaves etc. into large wheelbarrows
- Emptying wheelbarrows into a waste vehicle
- Litter picking the housing areas, pavements and side of roads
- Emptying and changing bins
- Keeping the local area clean and safe
Hours of work are 07:00 - 15:00, Tuesday - Friday, and 06:00 - 14:00 on Saturday. The times are flexible and you will sometimes be required to start or finish earlier or later.
You will always work Tuesday - Saturday,
so please ensure you are happy to work at the weekend before applying.
Starting pay rate of £10.42 per hour on weekdays, and £15.63 on Saturday's.
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
