The Vendor Alliance team is responsible for the day-to-day relationship, management and engagement of a select number of Softcat's top vendor partners.

Working to enable Softcat, they plan and execute against joint business objectives to drive mutual growth.

The team is now forty strong and growing, spanning all Softcat locations, providing a service to every function within the organisation.

The Vendor Alliance team is fundamental to providing Softcat with the expertise, resource, and relationship base that allows continuous growth from one of our key vendors.

Drive collaboration across Softcat to enhance partnership with HP

As a HP Alliance Executive, you will be responsible for executing the priorities set in the joint Softcat and HP business plan as well as managing the day-to-day alliance with HP within Softcat.

This individual will play a crucial role in driving collaboration, business development, and joint go-to-market initiatives across Softcat to ensure mutual success of the Softcat HP Partnership.

As a HP Alliance Executive, you'll be responsible for:

Developing and discovering new business with HP Inc. and supporting sale to maximise their opportunities
Managing the pipeline proactively with regular communication from the HP Partner Account management team
Developing and maintaining relationships internally as well as with the HP Inc and distribution partners
Acting as main point of contact for sales activity with HP's Sales Account Management and Partner management teams
Training and educating sales and sales specialist teams on the products and services
Developing and management of marketing activities to support delivery of Joint Business Plan

What we need from you

Previous experience in Sales or Sales Support role with a Vendor or reseller is desirable
A passion for technology and how it can enable businesses
The proactivity to take ownership of your own business area
The confidence to present and run large scale training and sales enablement sessions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple business areas
The ability to build rapport quickly with both internal and external stakeholders
Occasional travel to Softcat southern offices would be required
