CNC Machine Operator

Winchester, Hampshire

Up to £14.00 per hour


Our client, a family run woodworking plant in Winchester, is looking for CNC Machine Operator to join their existing team, this is a great opportunity to join a local company who have built up their reputation over the last thirty years to be one of the leading suppliers of their products in the south of England.

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be required to carry out various tasks including;

  • Checking raw materials are correct and fit for purpose
  • Using industrial CNC machinery
  • Ensuring that all measurements are correct
  • Working with and understanding technical plans
  • Fitting the right tools to active machines
  • Performing proper setup and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
  • Maintaining CNC Machine
  • Ensuring workstation is tidy and organised
  • Quality checking
The following experience is required;

  • Working with raw materials using a CNC Machine
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing and Production processes
  • Using hand tools, machine tools
  • Working in a workshop
  • Working with different types of wood
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your own
  • Full UK Driving License required
Working hours are Monday - Friday 07:00-1700

The hourly pay is up to £14.00 depending on experience, paid weekly in arrears.
