Effective time management is essential to this role to satisfy customer expectations.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience and relevant qualifications so that the transition into a new environment is as smooth as possible.

A high degree of accuracy and precise record keeping is essential to this role. This is a hands on role and often repetitive with numerous samples required deriving from the same recipe. This is often a time pressured working environment due to customer expectations and Ingram's upstanding reputation for quick turnaround.

Responsibilities and Duties

Creating and making NPD projects for customers.
Must have hands on NPD skills essential. Following a project through from start to finish.
Lab housekeeping
Must have an interest and ability to complete hands on sample preparation as this is the main role of the job.
Speaking to ingredient suppliers new and existing.
Lab raw materials must be labelled with accurate stock codes and stock must be recorded when removed from stock accurately.
Loading projects onto internal computer system and following projects through to dispatch.
Dealing with incoming NPD briefs from customers.
This list is not exhaustible of tasks and you may be asked to complete work that is out with your normal remit as we are a small business and all work together to achieve the same aims and objectives.

Ideal Qualifications and skills

HACCP Level 3/ Intermediate HACCP
Intermediate Food Hygiene
Relevant experience
Please specify any other qualifications.
Able to work all Microsoft office software such as word, excel.
Food science/ bakery/ cookery qualification.

Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5pm

Friday 9am-1pm

May be required to work overtime at busy periods.

Salary; Between £28,000- £35,000 Dependent on experience
