Data Engineer

London

Up to £45,000 + Competitive Bonus and Benefits

The Company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a disruptive challenger bank.

You will work in a dedicated engineering function with the chance to learn and pick up the newest Big Data technologies that are sought after globally.

They're looking for an enthusiasticlearner that is looking to transition into a senior role and is willing to push the boundaries.


The Role


In this role you will be able to shape your own career and receive some of the best training to help you do so.

You will focus on maintaining the data lake, debugging issues that arise.


You will:

  • Monitor daily BAU data pipelines and ensure data solution is up to date
  • Enhance processes and develop on the data lake build using SQL and Scala/Python
  • Work in an agile team controlling development and CI/CD release processes

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Experience with data solution BAU processes (ETL, Table, refresh etc)
  • Strong knowledge of database SQL technologies i.e. Oracle, SQL Server
  • Experience in programming language
  • Scala or Python
