Investment Content Specialist

This is a great opportunity to join a growing function within an established firm.

We are looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and work with both internal and external stakeholders to produce original, memorable, and different content that clearly demonstrates the way we think and how we invest.

Our content primarily serves the needs of our retail advisers and private client audiences, but we are also supporting our institutional audiences digitally when needed.

Liaising with multiple teams throughout the business, the role offers room for growth over time and the opportunity to have a direct impact on our clients, prospects, and the development of the Orbis brand.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Producing multimedia content: articles, videos, infographics, audio clips etc.
  • Writing short or longform investment content that tells the Orbis story and explains our investment philosophy for a variety of channels.
  • Repurposing and bringing to life creatively the content internally produced.
  • Working on digital campaigns with our regional marketing teams and external partners.
  • Helping our digital specialist with the running of LinkedIn and other channels/functions.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that content is produced timeously with great coordination and to a high standard.
  • Other adhoc tasks may include: website copywriting, team development efforts, managing web content via CMS.
Your qualifications & experience

  • Excellent academic performance in any field
- +5 years minimum experience producing investment content

  • Excellent writing skills and creative communication skills
  • Strong understanding and interest for investments
  • Selfmotivated, resilient and organised with a strong sense of ownership
  • Adaptable and good stakeholder management skills
  • Great team player, curious and openminded

Formed at the end of 2018 as the core part of the Global Branding & Marketing function, we work closely with our local retail teams in Australia, the UK and offshore.

The team's purpose is to enable clients to understand, enjoy and build conviction in investing differently, ensuring we reach them where they are today and tomorrow.


We aim to empower Orbis to compete and excel in the digital economy by creating memorable, high-quality client experiences across our communications and touchpoints.

  • Producing and distributing multimedia content increasing the reach and engagement of our clients and prospects. We help them make betterinformed decisions.
  • Building a digital programme to augment the firm's business development beyond our clientfacing capacity.

What we do

In its simplest form, the digital communications team's focus is user experience, content production and distribution. This encompasses many functions and touches on even more.

  • Content. We produce content for our target markets as a way of building our brand in those markets and helping clientfacing people to tell our story effectively.
