What You Will Be Doing

• Creating beautifully crafted websites (mainly using WordPress)
• Design and maintain new websites and improve the designs of existing builds
• Working with offtheshelf software and frontend website code.
• Optimising websites for multiple platforms including mobile and tablet using CMS Systems, WordPress in particular.

• This is an Exeter office based position and we are looking for a creative, technicallyminded junior web designer to join our fastgrowing digital advertising agency working on a fulltime basis. We are a collaborative, enthusiastic team keen to take on challenging work with a focus on delivering work to a high standard within deadlines.
• Working with the latest technologies and design trends, we are constantly striving to improve in our roles and deliver a better product to our customers. Training and mentoring are a key part of our culture, therefore the ability to share and learn with peers is key to our business values

Who you are

• You will have experience working with a variety of frontend web technologies and will be comfortable moving between them. You should be a team player working collaboratively with other web designers to guide problemsolving and members of other teams to ensure quality product delivery.
• You should be a highly motivated individual, passionate about key factors in quality web design, and looking for new ways to improve your existing skillset.
• You will be technically and creativeminded, using these qualities to come up with the best solution to various challenges.
• You will understand the importance of your own time management and the need to find a balance between technical solutions to business needs and the time available to you.

Ideal Skills

• WordPress CMS
• Website maintenance and problemsolving WordPress issues
• Understanding of the design & development process
• Working to deadlines
• Proficient in HTML/CSS

Nice to have:

• Experience with popular WordPress page builders
• Project Management
• Experience with PHP (particularly within WordPress)
• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience working in a web hosting control panel

Starting Salary:

£20,000 - £25,000 per year (depending on experience) with review after six months
