We are excited to be working with a Mortgage Brokerage, on their search for a Traineed Underwriter to join the growing business.

Our client has a unique understanding of its clients' challenges and offers a simple, flexible approach.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Action new lending requests for mortgages
  • Analyse credit worthiness
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals
  • Prepare offer documentation
  • Underwrite and approve loans against agreed lending criteria
  • Handling broker calls
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to effectively manage the lending process

Skills and Experience:


  • Proven working experience within the Mortgage industry
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
