Job Summary
We are looking for an Operations Officer who is experienced in Housing Management and can deal with tenants who have mental health issues and/or learning disabilities.
Sunny Vale Supported Accommodation Limited is a Registered Provider that provides high quality accommodation throughout England, with the majority of this being supported housing.
What will you be doing?
As an Operations Officer for our organisation, you will be the intermediate contact between tenants and the management team.
Your role will include regularly visiting all of our properties, surveying properties and the tenants within them, putting together reports to the management team and the Board, liaising with the maintenance team, as well as many other housing related tasks.
You will also have to regularly attend meetings with care providers, landlords, local councils, and developers. Also, you will directly assist the Business Development Officer in assisting with development matters for the organisation.What we're looking for
- Experience in Housing Management
- A good understanding of housing and social housing law
- Be able to effectively communicate with tenants and stakeholders
- Be able to compile reports and spreadsheets for the management team and Board of Directors
- Required to hold a full valid UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle
- Willing to learn, especially regarding housing quality/repairs
