The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a
Night Van Driver for our client based in
Poole.

The role will be driving a
3.5 tonne refrigerated vehicle locally delivering fresh and ambient produce on doorsteps.

This is classed as a
multidrop position due to the number of drops you will be required to do each night could be up to 100.


  • This is a temporary position to start
    immediately.
  • You will be required to work
    6 nights per week:
  • however this will be reduced to 5 nights later this year.
  • An induction to required before you start.

Requirements:


  • You will be required to work Sunday to Friday, meaning you will have 1 night off, Saturday night.
  • You will be required to start work at pm)
  • The shifts will be approximately 8 hours. You will be given a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
  • Previous van driving experience is essential to be successful.

The package:


  • Pay rate: £ £15.00 per hour (dependent on contract) nonnegotiable.
  • A van will be provided. You will not be able to take this van home. Having your own transport to get to and from the place of work would be ideal.
  • Minimum 8 hours per shift.
  • Uniform will be provided.

What you need:


  • Full UK Licence
  • No more than 9 points on your licence (No DD/DR).
  • Willing and positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients / customers.
  • Ability to work within a team and alone
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Reliability and continuity

Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
