Inside Sales Representative to be based at office in the
Heathrow area.

Main Purpose of the Role:


The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for increasing sales and revenue by finding new sales, supporting other members of the sales team and providing complete customer support for sales and services.

This role requires a high level of closeinteraction with both customers and various internal departments. As such, you will need to have strong interpersonal skills coupled with a positive and energetic attitude.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Receive, research and answer customer complaints, coordinating with Sales, Product Lines, QC, Warehouse, and Accounting Department.
  • Active and ongoing product knowledge across all divisions (Engine / Airframe / Distribution).
  • Receive, research and answer customer enquiries regarding sales orders, invoices, shipping data and paperwork inquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible on a daily basis, coordinating with Sales, Product Lines, QC, Warehouse and the Accounting Department.
  • Log all customer enquiries in the system, including all 'no quotes'.
  • Following up all offers provided to customers with a courtesy call.
  • Ensure all online enquiries are actioned and responded to accordingly. Quote accelerator, eplane, ILS.
  • Formulate and articulate new business opportunities identified from customer information and problem resolutions.
  • Meeting and exceeding company sales targets and goals.
  • Actively promote (distribution) new product offerings.
  • Ensuring all PO's are processed on day of receipt and customers are provided with order acknowledgement.
  • Maintain ongoing dialog with customers. Product Line (PL) should be part of the daily sales repertoire.
  • Work closely with customers and finance to ensure customers are within terms.
  • Track measurement on enquiries, orders, and backlogs.
  • Keeping the management system up to date in order to accurately track progress and keep other members of the team informed on status.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports when required.
  • Travel/Customer visits as and when required

To Be Considered:


  • Proven experience working in an inside / internal sales role from any industry
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry is desirable but not essential
  • Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately.
  • Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy.
  • Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Creativity: makes constructive suggestions and creates novel solutions to problems; evaluates new technology as potential solutions to existing problems.
  • Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared.
  • Good judgement and decisionmaking skills.
