As a member of the nursing team you will support registered nurses to deliver a high standard of care to patients in a caring and safe environment.

You will complete and maintain on an ongoing basis a generic and specific portfolio of clinical competencies relevant to clinical area and the Care Certificate as required.


We currently have vacancies for full or part time Nursing Assistants on one of the Trauma wards where patients are cared for following accidents and injuries.

Applicants do not need to have previous experience in care, but a diploma or Care Certificate would be an advantage.

There is a requirement for day and night shifts together with some weekend work.

A flexible approach is a necessity as is the ability to keep calm under pressure and meet the needs of patients whose behaviour at times can be challenging.


You will be provided with support from a friendly and committed ward team, a team leader who will guide your developmental needs, and clinical educators who will help you to fulfil your potential.

We are seeking Nursing Assistants who are motivated, dynamic and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

You will assist in caring for our patients as well as the maintenance of the patient environment in terms of cleanliness, tidiness and restocking of supplies.

Must be flexible and prepared to work days, nights and some weekends.
