Live-in Care Assistant - Thanet District, United Kingdom - Care Services

Description

We are looking for live in carers in the Thanet area to support the vulnerable community to remain independent in their own homes.

• Provide inhome care and support to individuals who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness or injury
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation needs
• Engage in conversation and provide companionship to clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behaviour

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
• Reliable and punctual
