Are you an Engineering Geologist located in Norwich looking for a new challenge to join an international market leading consultancy working on prestigious large scale complex projects that improve society through working on buildings, highways, rail, power,water, and utilities projects? As an Engineering Geologist, you should be technically robust in producing geological desk studies, managing large GI projects, with some experience in geotechnical design such as ground improvement, slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, shallowand deep foundations and retaining walls.

As part of the infrastructure team, you will be involved in strategy, concept, scheme development to detailed design and construction stages.


As an Engineering Geologist, it's expected that you have a degree qualified in engineering geology or civil/geotechnical engineering, are professionally qualified (Chartered) or working towards this either with the Geological Society of London and/ or theICE and can demonstrable extensive record delivering geological/ geotechnical projects using applicable standards and principles.


As an Engineering Geologist it's expected that:

  • Geotechnical analysis and design to Eurocodes for earthworks, retaining walls and foundations
  • Preparation of Desk Study Reports, GIR's and GDR's
  • Preparation of geotechnical specifications for construction works
  • CDM Regulations
  • Scoping, organising and supervising ground investigations
  • Leading and QA of geotechnical engineering analysis and design
  • Project Management
  • Geostudio Slope W /Seep W (or similar software)
  • Frew / WALLAP/ALP
